Who We Are

Yacht Delivery Solutions

We are yacht delivery specialists. By focusing exclusively on what we do best, we ensure every voyage is managed with experience, care, and attention to detail. This dedicated approach allows us to give each vessel our full focus, from preparation through to final handover.

Our promise is simple: a reliable, well-managed delivery. We believe in transparency, realistic planning, and treating every yacht with respect. We manage the details of each voyage so owners can hand over their vessel with confidence.

How We Work

Your First Inquiry
You will receive a clear delivery proposal outlining the scope of the voyage. If acceptable, we provide a formal estimate and contract to secure the booking, ensuring expectations are understood from the outset.

Preparation & Planning
Deliveries are prioritised as they come in, with weather and timing carefully considered. We build buffers into schedules, monitor long-range forecasts, assemble crew, and arrive ready to depart when conditions are suitable for a smooth and safe start.

During the Voyage
Owners are kept fully informed throughout the passage with regular written updates and photos, along with access to 24/7 tracking. Where required, we can supply Starlink for consistent communication and access to up-to-date weather information.

No Two Deliveries Alike

Every yacht has its own story, and every delivery is different. We tailor each New Zealand delivery to suit the vessel, the route, and the owner’s priorities. From detailed passage planning to careful vessel preparation, each step is handled with care and professionalism.

Our experience spans a wide range of yachts and operating styles, including trawlers, flybridge cruisers, offshore sailing yachts, and multihulls. We have delivered Beneteau, Jeanneau, Tayana, Adams, Farr, Bavaria, Swan, Garcia and many others on coastal passages, Tasman crossings, and offshore routes into the South Pacific.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our yacht delivery service includes passage planning, weather analysis, and a professional skipper with additional crew where required. Before departure, we carry out vessel familiarisation and safety checks, and throughout the voyage we manage navigation, systems monitoring, and day-to-day operation of the yacht.

Owners receive regular updates during the delivery, and the vessel is delivered to the agreed destination port in line with the contract and prevailing conditions.

A daily rate allows us to make decisions based on safety and conditions rather than speed. Weather delays, sea state, or routing changes are sometimes necessary to protect the vessel and crew.

Using a daily rate means we are not pressured to rush a delivery to meet a fixed price. It allows us to plan conservatively, wait for suitable weather when required, and operate the yacht in a way that prioritises good seamanship and the condition of the vessel.

Crew selection is based on the vessel, the route, and the conditions expected for the passage. Factors such as yacht size, systems, operating style, and the length of the voyage all influence the number and experience level of crew required.

As the delivery skipper, I select crew members with relevant experience for the specific type of yacht and the conditions involved, ensuring the team is suited to both the vessel and the passage.

Every delivery begins with vessel familiarisation and pre-departure checks to reduce the risk of issues arising underway. If a mechanical problem does occur, the crew will stabilise the situation and assess the best course of action.

Any parts, marina fees, or third-party services required are the responsibility of the owner. Where possible, minor issues may be addressed onboard, and where external assistance is needed, we will coordinate repairs or support to allow the delivery to continue safely and appropriately.

For international deliveries, we manage the clearance process at departure and arrival ports. This includes preparing the required documentation in advance, coordinating with customs and immigration authorities, and handling the on-arrival clearance process with the skipper and crew.

Owners are kept informed throughout, but the practical work of clearance is handled as part of the delivery so the process is completed efficiently and in line with local requirements.

Safety always comes first. Weather is monitored continuously before and during a voyage, and passage plans are adjusted to avoid unsuitable conditions wherever possible. If conditions are not appropriate, we will delay departure, hold in port, or alter course as required.

We operate vessels conservatively and will not push a yacht beyond sensible or safe operating limits. Decisions are made with the comfort of the vessel, the crew, and the overall condition of the yacht in mind.

Owners receive regular updates throughout the delivery, typically once per day, with additional communication when conditions or manoeuvres require it. Updates generally include the vessel’s position, a brief passage summary, weather conditions, and an updated ETA.

Satellite communications are used to maintain reliable contact, and 24-hour tracking is available so owners can follow the vessel’s progress throughout the voyage.
