We recently delivered an MC52 from Tahiti to New Zealand, a passage of over 2,000 nautical miles, providing us with an excellent opportunity to assess its capabilities in various conditions. This review will explore the different aspects of the MC52 based on our firsthand experience.

Cockpit and Deck Layout for McConaghy MC52

The MC52 features an innovative deck layout that prioritizes both performance and comfort. The helm stations are located on a raised flybridge, offering exceptional visibility and providing a commanding view of the surroundings. This elevated position also allows for easy communication with the crew and guests in the cockpit below.

The spacious cockpit is well-organized, featuring ample seating and a large dining table. A standout feature is the expansive aft platform, which lowers hydraulically to serve as a swim platform or a launch point for water activities.
