Lagoon 440 Delivery – Gold Coast to New Zealand
As an NZ yacht delivery company, we delivered this Lagoon 440 from the Gold Coast to New Zealand.
The Lagoon 440 is a model we have worked with on a number of occasions. The raised helm position provides good visibility underway and the large storage areas make it easy to carry provisions, spare parts and delivery equipment on longer passages.
Before departing the Gold Coast we completed a full inspection of the vessel and spent some time organising equipment onboard. A few routine service items were purchased locally and carried as spares, and we topped up fuel and water before leaving the marina. We also worked through the vessel inventory to make sure everything was accounted for prior to departure.
Once underway, much of the delivery involved the usual routine of machinery checks, cleaning and general vessel management. The Lagoon’s layout made daily inspections straightforward and there was plenty of space to keep equipment organised throughout the passage. Before arrival we completed a washdown and prepared the yacht for handover.
The Lagoon 440 arrived in New Zealand and was transferred to its receiving party. Deliveries between Australia and New Zealand are a regular part of our work, particularly with production cruising catamarans such as the Lagoon 440, and Lagoon 50.
