Catamarans are now a common sight around New Zealand, with many owners using them for coastal cruising, liveaboard use and extended Pacific voyages. As boats change ownership or move between cruising areas, there is often a need for a delivery skipper to relocate the vessel safely and efficiently.
For many owners, the challenge is not sailing the boat but finding the time to move it. A delivery from Auckland to the Bay of Islands, Wellington, Nelson or another part of the country can involve waiting for the right conditions and committing several days to the passage.
We regularly deliver catamarans throughout New Zealand, moving vessels between marinas, owner handovers, maintenance facilities and offshore departure points. Whether the boat is heading north for the Pacific season or relocating to a new home port, our role is to take responsibility for the vessel and complete the transfer.
