Lagoon Delivery from New Zealand to Fiji
This Lagoon 50 was delivered from New Zealand to Fiji at the start of the sailing season in May.
Although the Lagoon 50 offers excellent space and range for extended cruising, the passage still requires careful weather routing and departure timing to ensure a comfortable and efficient trip north.
For many owners, engaging a professional delivery skipper removes the need to assemble crew, plan an offshore passage and commit several weeks to relocating the vessel themselves. Our role was to manage the passage from New Zealand through to arrival in Fiji, allowing the yacht to be positioned and ready for the owner’s cruising plans.
The Lagoon 50 remains one of the most popular cruising catamarans operating throughout the Pacific, with many Lagoon catamarans moving between New Zealand and the wider South Pacific island groups each season.
