This Roberts 44 delivery was completed in New Zealand after the purchase.
Prior to departure we carried out routine delivery inspections, reviewed weather forecasts and prepared the yacht for the passage ahead. As with many New Zealand deliveries, weather timing was an important consideration, particularly when moving between different coastal regions.
Once underway, the skipper and crew settled into a straightforward routine of navigation, watchkeeping and regular vessel checks. The objective on any delivery is simple: move the yacht safely, efficiently and ready for its next stage of use.
Roberts yachts remain a common sight throughout New Zealand, with vessels regularly relocated between cruising grounds, marinas, refit facilities and owner handover locations.
