Prior to departure, we completed our standard delivery inspections, reviewed onboard systems and prepared the vessel for the planned route. Passage planning focused on weather patterns, sea state and arrival requirements to ensure a safe and efficient delivery. Throughout the voyage, the yacht performed as expected, demonstrating the responsive handling and offshore characteristics for which Farr yachts are well known.
Yacht deliveries around New Zealand often require flexibility around changing weather systems, coastal traffic and harbour entry conditions. As with all deliveries, the objective was to relocate the vessel safely while maintaining the vessel’s condition and ensuring a smooth handover to the owner at the destination.
