This Grainger 52 was delivered from Queensland, Australia, to Auckland, New Zealand on a classic trans-Tasman passage. The preparation was straight forward as the vessel was immaculate.

Designed by Tony Grainger, the Grainger 52 is a lightweight performance catamaran with an excellent reputation for offshore passagemaking. The vessel covered the miles efficiently and was well suited to the conditions encountered during the crossing.
The route from Queensland to Auckland requires careful weather planning and passage timing, particularly when crossing the Tasman Sea and approaching the New Zealand coast. The delivery was completed successfully, adding another trans-Tasman passage to our offshore catamaran delivery experience.
